Yes. Your initial purchase includes a perpetual license for eligible versions released within your update coverage period. This does not promise support for every future operating system or permanent maintenance of every version.
Critical security and data corruption fixes are planned for eligible feature versions for 3 years after new sales of each major version end. New features follow your update coverage. You can keep using purchased eligible versions after support ends. Specific sales-end and end-of-support dates will be listed in the release information.
There is no charge for the gap. After coverage expires, a renewal is planned to start 12 months of coverage from payment confirmation. It includes the latest version at renewal and eligible versions released during the new period.

The planned personal license covers 3 of your own currently activated devices. This is not a lifetime device count: you will be able to deactivate a device when replacing it. Device activation is still in preparation.
The planned purchaser portal will let you sign in to a shared account with a passkey, deactivate the old device, and move to a new one without starting the old device. Synced or additional passkeys will help you prepare for device loss; the service will not provide its own passwords or recovery codes. Deactivation takes effect on the old device at its next online verification. Accounts, activation, and deactivation are still in preparation.
When you first use the app, you must register a shared account with a passkey and complete online verification. If you already have a shared account, sign in with that account. A 30-day full-feature trial is planned to start when your first use is successfully verified. No card is required. Reinstalling with the same account does not reset the trial start date. The trial and app downloads are still in preparation.
Media and library information are planned to be kept, with browsing, search, and export remaining available. Playback, new imports and edits, automatic importing, and automatic organization will stop. Safe undo and recovery of existing operations will remain available, and purchasing will resume the same library. The trial is still in preparation.
When distribution and sales are ready, this page will include system requirements and download instructions. Planned prices and usage terms are listed above under Purchase & updates.
